Lingnan University (CHN)[]

  • Lecturer in the field of World History
  • The appointee is expected to teach multiple tutorials of the course “China in the World,” a survey of the role that China played in world history from antiquity through the global middle ages to the present. It is one of the four Core Curriculum courses at the university, required for all undergraduate students, that aim to cultivate a common foundation in humanistic education across the student body. The appointee may also teach courses in his/her fields of expertise, after fulfilling the primary obligations of this course.
  • Applicants should have a PhD degree in a relevant discipline at the time of appointment in August of 2019. Candidates with substantial teaching experience at the undergraduate level, and proficiency in Chinese language in addition to English, will have an advantage.
