We seek a colleague with an ability to collaborate with a production team, the desire to design and implement a variety of theatrical styles, and a commitment to instruction and production in an undergraduate liberal arts and sciences context. The successful candidate will design costumes for two main stage shows per semester, supervise costume studios, and teach two undergraduate classes per year (3-4 contact hours per semester). Candidates must hold an M.F.A. degree in Costume Design by time of appointment. Evidence of professional experience is preferred. Teaching experience at the university level is strongly desirable. The department prepares students for a variety of professional opportunities as well as post-graduate education.
