  • One year Core Visiting Assistant Professor/Core Renewal Fellow in History for 2017-18
  • As a Jesuit, Catholic institution, Boston College requires all students to complete a fifteen-course liberal arts Core Curriculum as the foundation of their undergraduate education
  • In one semester the visiting assistant professor will teach project-based lab sections associated with a Complex Problems course, “Understanding Race, Gender, and Violence,” co-taught by faculty from History and Sociology. In the other semester, he/she will teach two courses: an Enduring Questions course (paired with a second course designed with another Core visiting professor from Sociology) and an elective in his/her field.
