  • Phone Interview Scheduled 11/27
  • Phone interview early December. Said committee was meeting 12/9 and candidates would hear something that week. It's now 12/19. Assuming no news is bad news since holidays are approaching, and they'd likely want to schedule campus interviews before the break. Thoughts?
  • I had a phone interview and was told the same thing but also haven't heard anything.
  • Same here.
  • Our shared experience should give us hope! My guess is that end of the semester logistics forced them to hold off on decision-making until after the new year. Or perhaps they had the dreaded "budgetary concerns" meeting with Academic Affairs. I doubt it's the latter, because they're filling a retirement vacancy. My advice, for what it's worth: just hang tight. Hopefully we're not all candidates on the outside looking in, as happy candidates celebrate their Murfeesboro interviews. If that's the case, then my musings are worthless...
  • On-campus interviews scheduled.
  • Offer made and accepted.
