Associate professorship in the philosophy of healthcare, a permanent position which begins on 1 August 2021 or as soon as possible thereafter.
One main area of responsibility for this position is the task of teaching in and coordinating the professional Master’s degree programme in humanistic health research and practical development : https://cas.au.dk/uddannelse/evu/humanistisk-sundhedsvidenskab-og-praksisudvikling/. This involves coordinating seminars, and contact with students throughout the semester. The coordinator is expected to be present at times of teaching, typically during the weekends, when they will also be required to organise practical issues. The courses in this programme are taught in Danish.

SAS is recruiting new professors (open rank) in cultural studies, history (in particular, history of technology), film and media studies and production, psychology, sociology, economics, higher education, IT and system analysis, and mathematics (quantitative reasoning, data analysis and statistics).
SAS is a growing interdisciplinary research center and educational institution (BA/MA) at the Tyumen State University, which opened in 2017 to serve as a benchmark for universities across Russia. SAS operates in English and currently employs 29 full-time faculty from 17 countries, most of whom received their PhDs from universities top-ranked globally.
SAS offers either one-year or three-year renewable faculty appointments starting August 2021, pays competitive salaries, provides health insurance and research allowance. Queen's University - Faculty of Health Sciences (CAN:ON) - History of Medicine [non-TT: remote][]

Applications are invited for a Term Adjunct appointment to teach history of medicine while the Jason A. Hannah Professor of the History of Medicine is on a leave. The appointment will be for the period August 1, 2021 to May 31, 2022.
The appointment will be at 100% responsibility for the equivalent of a 1.0 credit course in the History of Medicine thread in Undergraduate Medical Education. Teaching will include a total of 36 contact hours usually with all 100 students in each class primarily through lectures, but also through symposia, seminars and small group sessions.
The medium of delivery is flexible. If the Term Adjunct is not physically able to travel to Kingston, in-class sessions as well as other responsibilities may be conducted virtually via Zoom.

Tenure track Assistant or Associate Professor in Science Communication
We wish to recruit a scholar whose research program addresses questions on the impact of science literacy on society, public engagement, news and media discourse and/or policy development with a focus on science communication. Applicants are invited from science and technology studies, communication and media studies, digital humanities, biomedical knowledge translation and related fields. The candidate must have demonstrated research and teaching expertise in relevant fields, be capable of establishing a vibrant extramurally funded research program to illuminate and inform the work of the School, hold a PhD at the time of appointment and have relevant professional experience in science communication.
The successful applicant is expected to engage undergraduate and graduate students in the classroom and research to develop novel pedagogical approaches that integrate science communication with the course content. In addition, they are also expected to contribute to administrative and teaching duties associated with a planned Masters in Science Communication program.
