Guilford College, Greensboro, NC - Visiting Assistant Professor, American & Postcolonial Literature[]

English and Creative Writing. Guilford College seeks an educator with creativity and vision to fill a full-time, renewable position as a Visiting Assistant Professor, starting August 2020. We seek a specialist in American literature to teach survey courses, postcolonial and world literature, first-year writing, and special topics in the candidate’s areas of interest. The candidate will teach six courses a year in Guilford’s new curriculum and calendar (3-week/12-week sessions). Ideally, they will also design and teach courses in media or interdisciplinary studies. The Ph.D. is required. Guilford is a selective coeducational liberal arts college founded in 1837 by the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) with approximately 1,700 students.
