Instructions

Please add jobs in the following format and order them alphabetically by institution.

  1. Example University (State/Province, Country). Position Title. Specializations. Deadline. TT/NT. FT/PT. Link to Job ad(s). Updates:

TT/NT: Tenure-track or Non-tenure track.

FT/PT: Full-Time or Part-Time

For the sake of user-friendliness, please do not add more detailed content of the job ad on this page. (This is a departure from previous years, when these pages tended to become difficult to navigate. The new guidelines are modeled on more user-friendly Academic Wiki pages serving other disciplines.)

Add updates to the end of each entry as they come in: Additional materials requested, video interview scheduled, campus visit scheduled, offer extended, offer accepted, rejection received.

Please post "Have you heard?" questions above, under Word on the Street.

Please contribute to transparency in the academy by adding yourself and your advisors to the Academic Tree project.

(1/25) The job ad reposted on Chronicle.

(1/26): I reached out to search contact listed on the posting on 1/8 and he said that there was an unusually large number of applicants etc etc and that’s they planned to have semi-finalists contacted by dept admin mid-week the following week. Not sure if that ended up happening.

(1/26) Thank you for sharing this!

11/23: Request for supplemental materials...but it sounds like everyone who applied got this request? Almost like they decided to change the application requirements at the last minute?

12/9: To the posting above, how long after you submitted your initial materials did you get the supplemental materials request? I think that means you got to a second round. I received a request immediately after submitting my initial materials (since I was now on the list of applicants) on 11/30 and emailed the department to check; they said this was only for "some candidates" since they started reviewing on a rolling basis. All the best!

12/10: Request for zoom interviews sent out on 12/09.

(12/10): the ad states that interviews will be conducted on a rolling basis; to the post above, when did you submit your application materials?

1/5: Wonder what "a rolling basis" really means here. They no longer receive applications after the deadlines and they had their first screening and interview. Could there be another interview and if so why spread that way? Many people sent their applications and requested materials by 11/30. I am not sure it really depends on when they submitted it.

1/25 - Job talk scheduled.
