Review of applications will begin on November 15, 2015 and continue until the position is filled. Interviews will be conducted at the MLA convention.

UPDATES:

  • Candidates should note that by "evidence of teaching excellence" they mean a teaching philosophy statement, not teaching evaluations.
  • Interviews at MLA---- Are they really interviewing? I haven't heard a peep from them since end of December, when they said the search was still at preliminary stages, whatever that means.
  • They have been conducting interviews at the MLA 1/10.
  • Anyone heard back yet?
  • Any news? I'm still waiting for a rejection from them but nothing so far.
  • Kenyon is a fake search, I knew it even before I got interviewed at MLA. They have VP who did her postdoc there and she is now a VP. The search committee was so fake that I almost pointed out to them. I am sick and tired of being a victim of heartless people who are suppose to be educators, role models. Most people in Search committe forget or act like they never been in a job market before and they think they are better than the people they are interviewing. (Moved: GSA4)
  • I heard they made an offer and it was accepted.
  • Yes, the position has been filled. I have received zero communication from the search committee throughout this search - not even a rejection email. Definitely something to keep in mind for future contacts.
