One of these positions is open in terms of specialization; the other will be a possible joint appointment in the departments of Cultural Studies and Applied Gender Studies with a specialization in Africana Studies. We will look with special interest at candidates who are at the advanced assistant or associate rank and who can complement our department’s current strengths in Museum Studies and/or Media Studies. Desired specializations include Africana Studies, Critical Ethnic Studies, Latinx Studies, Indigenous Studies, and Feminist, Queer and/or Trans Studies. We welcome interethnic, transnational and comparative approaches as well as public humanities work.
